We’re a few days into 2026, the festivities are behind us and that gives me the time to look back at 2025 and look forward to what this year will bring.
2025 was a year of trying new things.
Verage Airsoft, the company
While I was using Verage Airsoft for my videos, I added a lot more to that name and made it into an actual company, here in Sweden. A company designed to make videos (for myself and others), create events, Partner events and making products.
Videos,
- I released about 50 videos about all sorts of airsoft topics on my Verage Airsoft Youtube channel. I started adding shorts to my channel to increase the reach.
- Together with Ares Alpha I create their video manual for their App and props
2026 Videos,
In 2026 I will of course continue with the weekly videos in my style. Gameplay, Gear and brainfart videos are already planned and the list of video ideas is already stretching into 2027. No lack of material to work with.
Existing partnership will continue and new ones will be created as making videos is something I like to do and it stimulates my creative thinking to create the best video possible. An interview series or documentary is still on the agenda, maybe 2026 will be the year I finally do it.
Events,
3 different event types were designed and/or perfected.
- The Shattering, the weekend games with a continues story in a fictive apocalyptic world. A story where players can find their own character and fight for their side on every game.
- Team Events, small teams take it up against each other, mostly on woodland fields, to complete objectives together with their team. Because of the unique respawn system, you and your team stick together almost the whole day.
- Airsofter World Games, the tactical airsoft competition. The first national competition with 7 teams, live-streamed all over the world.
2026 Events,
Team Events and Airsofter World Games will have a higher focus as those are the events that lead more into the teamwork in airsoft that I love to see. While The Shattering story is one that I love and want to continue, and I will, 2026 will focus on teamwork. Preparation for bigger and longer games on 1 day events so everyone can join in.
The first draft calendar is ready and I planned 1 event for each month. Events will be shared here and on Airsofter World.
Partner Events,
I can’t do it alone and partnering up with existing organisers grows the level of expertise and knowledge to create beautiful airsoft events.
- OMS (Norway), together with OMS we create fun weekends where I as the game master do the games, which is my strength. I made 3 trips up to Norway to create weekend events on 2 different places. I want to thank the people in OMS for taking me in and trust me in what I do.
- Viken AirsoftSpill (Norway), organisers of the biggest Norwegian weekend event OP Borderline. The first partner steps are made and more is coming in 2026 for sure!
- Frysen Airsoft (Sweden), while I did rented the field multiple times, now you can also find me on Frysens Sunday games where I run their games. I job that brought me already so much fun by giving the people a relaxed, fun, dynamic, shooty shooty Sunday.
2026 Partner Events,
Working together is the way to go and while some of the events will be only mine, a lot of the events will be partner events with other organisers to grow and strengthen the community instead of working against each other. You will see me in Norway, together with Norwegians in Sweden and with Swedes in Sweden.
Products,
The Verage Airsoft Dual PTT has been an awesome success. A product that I always wanted and without a lot of hesitation, I took the time to create it. Creating products that fill the hole for airsoft problems that nobody thinks about, that was so satisfying. I learned a lot while making the PTT. From import and contacting factories to shipping and running an online shop, I all had to figure it out and it worked. The PTT is already used in multiple countries and the feedback is good.
2026 Products,
We’ll see what 2026 will bring, but surely there are some products on the TODO list. I’m not going to spoil it too much but be sure to keep track of the social channels and the website for more information.
Airsoft Community
While the Verage Airsoft company took a lot of time out of my schedule, more airsoft stuff happened in 2025. Community building, bringing airsofters together over the borders and creating a legal base for it all, split in different groups.
Airsofter World,
The international platform to connect airsofters on all levels and without borders. Since 2021 I have been part of this and slowly we keep growing and connecting. Airsofter World in 2025 focused on connecting airsoft associations and federations all over the world. I connected over 25 different associations and federations and in monthly meetings we communicate about all things airsoft related.
I’m more than proud of what I have accomplished in those months. We created the biggest international network that has ever been created and we will continue this in 2026!
2026 Airsofter World,
While Airsofter World is a passion project that I work on in my limited free time, it’s one that will see some interesting changes in 2026. I’m not going to spoil too much but good things are coming. Get your ass to www.airsofter.world and register yourself and your team.
Swedish Airsoft Federation,
Airsoft as a sport, that’s the goal and it started in 2025 with the creation of SASF, www.svenskairsoft.se. A group of Swedish associations came together and after months of discussing and talking, the SASF was created. The first step to becoming a sport and get more recognition and protection was taken. As a board member, I will do my part along side Swedish players from all over Sweden.
2026 Swedish Airsoft Federation,
SASF will take the next steps in 2026. Bringing more associations and players together and keep the communication flowing. It will take a few years before we can take the step to become a sports federation. To be able to do that a lot of work need to be done. I’m looking forward to be a part of this.
European Airsoft Federation,
Where to start on this one without going off and writing a book about it…
In 2025 I brought 20 European federations to the EAF. The EAF is the legal entity where Airsofter World is an international community. EAF has been a frustrating chapter because of a few bad apples in the international airsoft community. It did showed that the European airsoft community is full of amazing driven and passionate people that want to work together and lift airsoft higher nationally and internationally.
2026 European Airsoft Federation,
We have been sticking together and we will continue to do so to create the EAF that we are all (most of us) are talking about on our unofficial monthly meetings. I’m again proud to have accomplished such a connection and now it’s up to all of us to keep the train on the rails and finalize what we started.
2026 will be interesting and I have been debating to keep you in the loop a bit more with monthly updates as it was an interesting turn of events in 2025 that were hard to explain without the updates. I’m sure more surprises will fall out but we will pick it up and keep going as Airsoft needs a European connection to protect what we have and grow our sport.
As a player, organiser, team, … join your national federation. When doing that, you support the EAF and the project we’re working on.
Verage, the Player
I joined multiple events, small and big in 2025. I love being on the field with all of you and run and gun together. Airsoft has been a passion that I made into a job but being on that field and go for that objective while being shot at, even after 20 years, I still love it and will keep doing just that!
I ran games solo, in a team, as a squad leader and as company commander. I plan to keep the same spread of tasks during games, I hope I can find some new beauties of fields and meet awesome people in 2026!
