I got a weird copyright claim, a channel uploaded my video that was AI translated in Portuguese.
I’m all for sharing information of awesome products from Ares Alpha (www.ares-alpha.com), but this is not the way to do it. It showed how weird the internet has become that basically everyone can take things, modify it and share it as their own. YouTube did a good job on sending it to me and now I’m curious what will happen after I reported and asked YouTube to take it down. Not even a single credit was given for the work I have done in making this video.
AI has been in our world for a while now and we still don’t understand the impact that it will have on our future lives. Also for me, as a creator, this will be a change. I use AI myself for certain parts of what I do with events, I use it to summarize text and rework it a bit so it fits what I need it for. It is a handy tool. It’s a lazy, easy tool and a lot of footage is being uploaded every day to break through and have that one video that goes viral.
Instead of that, I focus on making good videos and keeping my website up to date so you can find the useful information here, in a structured way. My little place on the internet where I decide what and how I show things to you.
Sending this to some friends made me download the video and upload it again on my channel to share, this way the person that took the video, is not getting any traction. So here is the video, if you want to know what we were talking about.
This was a weird day that will be in my mind for a while.
