Perun Hybrid in Sand & Rain

Quick answer to a question I got. How do perun Hybrid mosfets handle the rain, sand and dirt?

I have been running different rifles with Perun Hybrids in various conditions. Not that I use an ICS split gearbox system so fine particles of water, dirt and sand are getting in the gearbox a bit easier.

Last year at Berget, my rifle got buried in the sand by some person tripping a full scoop of sand in it. The selector switch was stuck because of the sand, I ran the rest of the game with it and had not problems at all.

This year during a 6 hour base defence a friend was running his perun Hyrbrid mosfet rifle in the pouring rain. No problems at all with the Hyrbid mosfet during the day or the day after.

The day before he defended the same sand pit as I did last year. Sand everywhere but the rifle kept going.

Now that we’re back home I will clean the inside and remove all the dirt and check contacts. Regular maintenance on your rifles is important to keep them going in tough environments.

If you have more questions about stuff I use, let me know.
