I’m going to Finland!
The past years I have been going to many bigger games and meeting awesome people. Some of those people were the Ehasa people from Finland and they talked about Battlegroup.
It has been on my todo list ever since but the timing was always off or something else happened so I couldn’t attend it. Well that changed and in 2026 I’m going to be a part of the Coalition of Nordberg, the blue team.
We’re joining a group of friends from various teams to tip my toe in the biggest airsoft event in Finland.
There is a lot of things that I want to experience,
– The focus on mechanized movement
– The event building
– Being back as a rifleman in a unit
– Finnish nature
– Smiling Finns (although that might be hard to find)
I will of course bring my trusted Gopro 7 to document my journey and I might even change it up a little bit with some more vlog style videos as I probably have some more downtime than when I’m leading a company, but I can be totally wrong about that.
I’m very excited to be back in Finland for some games as it has been waaaaay to long.

In advance I’ll have to watch all the videos as a preparation for the game, starting with the overview video from last year. Which imo is some of the best quality footage I have seen from a bigger game.
