Airsofter World April Update

Airsoft season is open!

Better weather, bigger games and more bbs flying everywhere. A few signs that mark the opening of a new airsoft season. For Airsofter World, this means joining games and talking to airsofters about our massive undertaking.

Here are the last month’s updates and a few of our future projects.

Airsofter World Games

Netherlands completed their first test game. The event was hosted by RushB events (https://games.airsofter.world/467-2/). Players had a good time and enjoyed the concept. We’re looking forward to hosting a national competition soon in the Netherlands.

Belgium is setting up one national competition instead of two. We expect to receive more information soon so we can update the Belgian AWG page with more information.

Sweden is in full swing for the first national AWG at Frysen Arena, organised by A Verage Event. Companies, players and enthusiasts are coming together for this first national AWG event in Sweden, but also a first in the world. A lot of eyes are on this event, not only on site but also through the upcoming live-stream. We’re happy to see so many companies partnering up with Airsofter World. Communications are still ongoing with a few companies. It’s already a impressive list of partners who provide support for the event and prizes for the winning teams. The interests grows in different countries, such as Germany, Slovakia, Romania and Norway. Slowly we are connecting the world.

If you are an organiser and want to try out to host an Airsofter World Game in your country, contact us on rob@airsofter.world and let’s sit down and make that happen.

Upcoming dates,
10 May 2025 – Sweden by A Verage Event

European Airsoft Federation

We sadly have not gotten more updates about the creation of the EAF. We are moving forward with meetings every 3 months to reach our goal in creating a legal entity.

That does not mean that we loose connection with our network. We ramped up the Airsofter World Association meetings to a monthly frequency. We discuss important topics that are relevant to the EAF and to the AWG, which will become more important once a international competition is needed to be recognized as a sport.

Airsofter World is giving full support to reaching the goal of a European Airsoft Federation and later also, an International Airsoft Federation.

More updates soon!

Analytics

Numbers show the activity from people connecting to Airsofter World. While it does give interesting data, because of the hard push on the Airsofter World Games there is a small shift in numbers. The total numbers are static but the country specific numbers change.

We’re at 11981 users and growing steady at about 1% of users each month. A steady growth is important for the stability of Airsofter World. New people discover Airsofter World, which is an important analytic that show the discovery of Airsofter World by airsofters.

Airsofter World APP

We have to get the APP back!

The android version is as good as finished and it will be back in 2025!
We’re looking for funding to do the final updates and bring an iOS version.

The APP is going to bring the desktop version to your phone for easier uploading, following, usage of the Airsofter World platform. Overall a better an easier mobile experience.

During the Swedish AWG, a demonstration of the AW App is planned, be sure to tune into the live-stream for for that!

If you want to be part of the creation of this next step for Airsofter World, contact us on rob@airsofter.world.

Thank you,

Challenging but interesting Airsofter World projects are launching on different levels and this can only be possible because of the airsoft community supporting this international connection.

Thank you!
