A few weeks ago I received a question to bring my camera to games a bit more, so the next day I had a game a brought my Gopro to film a Sunday game at Frysen. I wanted to test out my M249, so perfect time to record some fun airsoft footage.
I made 3 different videos in my style and it’s fun to see that people like my commentary over the video. It’s not a hit compilation, it’s me playing a game and having fun.
PART 01
Running an M249 on a CQB field is a challenge in different ways. It’s long, it’s heavy and I need to keep 10m before I can start shooting. Still, I love running a support gun in a team that works together.
This game I’m running an A&K M249 and an Umarex Elite Force H8R on CO2 because of the colder weather.
I also had a different rig I’m testing, more about that later.
With these videos I want to bring some fun airsoft gameplay with a fun group of people. Nothing fancy, just shooting fun.
PART 02
The first round at Frysen showed me some flaws of running a Machine gun in a CQB site, time to adapt to those short comings.
As you will see I’m an active player and move around a lot, which got me a few times in trouble with the Minimum engagement distance. I have to work om my transition speed. Still I enjoyed running the MG very much. It reminded me why I bought this beast. Supporting my teammates to get the job done.
One thing, I will be bringing it a lot more to games again when I fixed the problems.
- Fix the hopup in place
- Add mosfet for 11,1V battery
- Check for airleaks
Would you like to see a breakdown video of my M249, let me know.
Enjoy the second round at Frysen, with some more teamwork this time.
PART 03
Frysen in the dark, it is a different experience.
I switched my m249 to my ICS Dagger with a tracer and a light on it, cause the 10m minimum distance is a bit difficult if you can’t see that far anyway.
We had an amazing group of people that went for the objective and not hide in a corner, which made the a very active game.
This is the last part of the Frysen sunday game, if you want to see more gameplay videos like this, let me know and I’ll take my camera to games a bit more.
I’m looking forward to the next game!
